changed

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the
light bulb could have been changed differently

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs

27 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light
bulbs

53 to flame the spell checkers

41 to correct spelling/grammar flames

... another 6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is
"lamp"

bulb" is perfectly correct

technique and what brands are faulty

8 to suggest that there are light bulb tiers

37 to debate whether southern light bulbs are better than northern light bulbs

27 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs

14 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the
corrected URL's

this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group

33 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all
headers and signatures, and add "Me too"

12 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they
cannot handle the light bulb controversy

19 to quote the "Me too's" to say "Me three"

4 to suggest that posters request the light bulb FAQ

44 to ask what is a "FAQ"

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

143 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions
about light bulbs"

12 to complain about snarkiness of above posters

6 to suggest a separate thread regarding whether the OP is a troll

1 new forum member to respond to the original post 6 months from now and
start it all over again

MysticCat 04-21-2008 02:38 PM

1 Tom Earp to drunkenly post about changing a light bulb in the LXA house. He also made chili because it's damn cold out.

nittanyalum 04-21-2008 03:20 PM

And then 1 macallan post telling Earp he hopes he licks a frozen flag pole and his tongue gets stuck.

MysticCat 04-21-2008 03:22 PM

And one Drolefille translation would be needed.

And mac, he might not post about chilli -- it might be Tom's Gooey Buns.

DaemonSeid 04-21-2008 03:30 PM

One troll to tell us how he gots herpes from his babymama because the lightbulb wasn't chnaged so he couldn't find his condom.

Leslie Anne 04-21-2008 03:39 PM

And add 1 to post a lolcat to lighten the mood.

macallan25 04-21-2008 04:16 PM

Also 1 post by sheetcake showing a sheetcake.

DSTCHAOS 04-21-2008 04:18 PM

And 1 to post  because the original person shouldn't have brought the light bulb to GC in the first place and has spent too much time on it.

LucyKKG 04-21-2008 05:14 PM

Hahahaha oh my lord, this is too freaking funny. I started a new temporary job as a receptionist, and I'm sure they're wondering why I'm CRACKING up out here I love you, GC!

(I swear, I thought about that the minute I hit "submit." I knew it wouldn't take too many posts for someone to bring it up!)
