Province Councils
So, who went to the council of their respective Province? (Northeastern Here)
Experiences, please list. I'm at work, so I'll update later. |
Details to be announced later....
...as we haven't had ours yet (it is this weekend).
|
I got this jacket. It's pretty nice. But I went to the para shop and ordered some decals for it ASAP, because there is no way I'm going to rock a jacket without no damn info on it.
And in hindsight, I could have made myself a better jacket, but I'm just going to rock with it as is. I'll post pictures when I get it sometime next week. |
What the deal Nupes….this is a little off from your Province Council question
(PDK) but I had the chance to talk with one of the Bruh’s on the planning committee for next years Konclave and although we won’t come close to the ladies in Pink and Green in July…it sounds like it will be an insane time in the Kapitol....I hope brothers are down. Yo |

OH MAN, ok, so yeah. The Northeastern Province Council meeting, in Wilmington Delaware...
WOW. I friggin LOVE going to these things. Well, aside from the paper work and the meetings, the sense of fellowship DEFINITELY gets me recharged in Phi Nu Pi. But seriously, 4-5 hour meetings? What's up with that? Ugh. Old heads are long-winded. I can't wait for Klave. Holy moly, I have a significant other out there in Howard. I might not be able to bring her around. It's bad enough Xi Chapter is a bunch of rowdy NUPEs, lol.. |
Well, the Province Council meeting in Charleston was pretty good.
Three people from my chapter got initiated (one who is a legacy, one who is on crutches due to a dislocated kneecap, and one who just loves Kappa that much). So that makes me a prophyte. I bought a red Kappa blazer (I had wanted one for so long) and another brother got me a red tie. Now I'm ready for the Sip tomorrow. :D Province meetings were good, as was the public meeting. The camaraderie though was even better. The Friday night Kappa party was a disaster; no one attended (it turned out that the brothers were being charged $10 for admission; needless to say all the undergrads went to nearby clubs instead). Our guest speaker at the closed banquet was Junior Grand Vice Polemarch Michael J.A. Davis, and he was a GREAT speaker. I loved the speech. The meal, not so much. The chicken was bland and I had to put A-1 steak sauce on it to give it some flavor. After that, I skipped the Saturday night gala, checked out the hotel and drove home, getting there at 2 a.m. |
Michael is a really cool bruh and a great speaker.....he comes from a long line of Nupes.....reall good bruh.

Northeastern Province council is always AWESOME, honestly.
My chapter brother was elected (uncontested) to Strategus, and one of our Prophytes got him a Red Blazer. I’m buying mine @ CRog, because good gravy, I want one. 08 was the year of Red Blazers, because over three-fourths of the bros had one. I felt so out of the loop on that note. :( The Public Meeting was good for us, but I let the young boys handle that. I also skipped the ceremony since we didn’t have intake in the spring. The younger brother of someone I went to HS with (well, I went to HS with the younger brother also) is a neo now! Man! Now it’s weird to think of him as “Peanut’s Little Brother”, lol.. Our Friday night party was a blast. I think I mentioned the Hospitality Suite already.. But Bros already know how that goes down. It was free for registered bros, so I was just running back and forth, getting progressively intoxicated on every trip. I also learned about 15 new Chapter specific strolls that night. Sorry to hear about your Province party, KAP, it’s all about Prior Planning, ya Digg? Maybe Charleston Alumni dropped the ball on that one. |
