I got an email today that AOII is presenting at Appy State in Boone, NC!!!!
Let's keep our fingers crossed!

I'm excited, not only b/c we have an a chance to colonize there, but it's also right over the mountain from me! YAY! :D

We've already had our presentation. Check inCircle...a sister described the event in a thread on the Discussion forum. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and I'm impatient to know what their choice will be!

AOPi was chosen to colonize at ASU. My daughter is in a sorority and they found out tonight.

I got the official email tonight about AOII's and Appy State's decision!!!
YAY AOII!

This makes me even happier since it is only a half hour up the road from me! :D

I am a proud sister of AOII at Appalachian State University! Just an update: We were officially installed as a Chapter (Sigma Gamma - Sisterhood of Elegance and Grace) on April 4th, 2009 as AOII's 186th collegiate chapter. It was a very exciting and life-changing day, especially having the honor of Susan Danko present at our initiation and Rose Ceremony! Thanks for all the support from all the Chapters that held us in your thoughts! :D

asuAlphaO...I walked out of opening ritual practice with your chapter president. She's a doll! It was really lovely to hear your chapter's submotto at Candlelighting! Good luck with your first recruitment!
