Transferring schools... please help!
So, I'm 22 and I am transferring schools because I'm not happy and I need a change. The details suck and my heart is hurting and I just want to move. I've always wanted to join a sorority and was thinking of rushing at my new school. I think it would be a great way to make friends but I'm concerned that no one will take me due to the fact that I'm 22. I'll be in school for at least 2 more years and I just want a change and I really want this. There are only two sororities and I don't know if they are competitive or not... Any advice???

It really depends on the school you go to. At some schools, 22 year old transfers regularly get bids, at others it's unheard of. Honestly, you have nothing to lose by going through recruitment and just seeing what happens. If nothing else, you'll meet some new people.

I would think that at a school with only 2 sororities, you, a 22 year old transfer with at least 2 years left, would have a decent chance at getting a bid. Of course, no one online or in person can tell you that you have a X% chance. I'm just thinking that if this were a school where girls were clamoring to go Greek, there would probably be more than 2 sororities.

We also have a very small greek community with 4 small sororities. Anyways, in my sorority we have 3 girls who are 25 and nobody thinks twice about it and I know that some of the other's have older girls also (though I don't know exact ages).
