Welcoming back a sorority?
We are a colony of Pi Kappa Alpha and one of our sororities is back from suspension and we wanted to do something special to introduce our selfs/welcome them back on campus, by the way no one has a house. Any ideas?

well if they got kicked off from something alcohol-related, probably shouldnt do a kegger or go to the bar.
|
lol.
Not having a house makes it tough - do they meet on campus? If so, you might arrange with the president to come and serenade them before their meeting starts - or invite them to a mixer or some other social event. |

yes, ask permission from their president to come serenade them at the beginning of a chapter meeting. you could bring a bunch of roses and present each member with a rose. |
What do you mean by serenade?
|
Serenades: Singing them a few of your fraternity songs and maybe learn one of theirs to sing to them. A lot of the time the boys bring flowers to give to the new members/seniors/everyone.
|
"Ain't no mountain high, ain't no valley low, ain't no river wide enough baby"
I suggest singing this song. That's the one we had to sing as pledges to one house. |
If seranades aren't your thing, maybe have a bbq meet and greet, pick up wiffle ball game or something like that. But I mirror what another poster said, if they were on probation for alcohol or something like that - I would keep that stuff to a minimum!

Send flowers, or if your guys are good at arts & crafts stuff, post a well-decorated PKA welcomes back XYZ sign in their front yard.
|
Something easy: Ask the President permission to show up one night with ice cream and toppings. An ice cream social is always fun, easy and inexpensive

My brother (president of his chapter), sent an email to the president of Alpha Phi when they got installed as a chapter congratulating them, offering any help that he and his brothers could give, and sent the chapter a bouquet of roses. It went over well ;)
