Any Van Halen fans?
Not my favorite band but I still like them quite a bit. If any of you are VH fans, one question for ya.... Under what singer was the band better, Dave or Sammy? I won't count Gary cherone in this since the one cd with him was the lowest selling cd for van halen ever.

DAVE!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, how can you even ASK that question??!!!?! |
DAVE definitely -- though I do like OU812 and 5150 since they remind me so much of college and my college boyfriend.
I saw the 1984 tour when it rolled thru my hometown --my freshman year in high school. Wow that makes me old. ha ha |
Oh, Dave by far. I just figured I would throw that out to see if there was any difference in opinion. I do like 5150 but after that it has been all downhill.

Ok, gotta go w/ Dave, for sentimental reasons....... http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif 5150, definitely my fave http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif And how about Def Leppard, folks??? Still my all time favorite band LOL!!!
|
Don't get me started with Def Leppard http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif I have all of their songs downloaded. Hey, it is better than my old def leppard cassettes.

DAVE IS THE MAN AND WILL ALWAYS BE DA MAN. VH was sooo much better as him as the lead. Yea I like Def too. Another fab 80's band~

Van Halen is pretty good. I don't listen to them all that often anymore though. My favorite album of theirs is 1984 (with Jump and Panama). I got the cassette when I was about 11, and it was the first album of theirs that I owned, and I listened to it dozens of times, so it has sentimental value. Diamond Dave is definitely their best frontman. Rumor has it he's back with them in the studio, but you never know. I know better than to get my hopes up like I did when they made a special appearance at the MTV awards several years ago.
