Frontier Airlines Files For Chapter 11...
 

Their employees were informed early this morning.

The airline says that this will be transparent to its customers.

Not a great week for the airline industry.

That is unbelievable... I just put someone on that Airline and she did not want to fly it... Wow... :eek:

I flew United a lot while it was in Chapter 11.

I'm flying Southwest tomorrow, and assuming they did the maintenance they allegedly skimped on.

I'd rather be on Frontier tomorrow, and am flying to New York with them in a couple of weeks.

Chapter 11 means they're filing for protection -- not that they're broke and/or are any more or less safe now than they have been.

I like Frontier a lot.

I thought AirTran was trying to buy Frontier? What happened to that?
