Proof: If you go greek, your chances of getting laid increase
So I'm not usually one to post spam... but... Apparently, these guys did a survey on quite a few college campuses. They were primarily interested in who had lost their virginity. Yes, members of GLOs are less likely to be virgins than non-members.
http://www.campussexsurvey.com/ No, the methodology isn't exactly scientific. |
My question is, how did they determine the sample size/gender/greek-gdi breakdowns? Unless there are controls for number of members of each constituency, such surveys are likely participated by "anyone who agress when asked".
People who are experts in this area, please feel free to rephrase my question. I never took stats, or performed official sampling/surveys, but my limited experience with studies tells me that there are a lot of "Control" issues. Studies are often just mechanisms to skew results in your favor. |
It's just one of those viral facebook surveys, apparently.
Greeks are much more heavily surveyed than other groups. From my school, a school where MAYBE 5% is greek, 25% or so of the respondents were greek. This isn't a scientific survey at all. No one ever claimed it was. |
in fact, you dis-claimed that in your first post
|
Interestingly, at my school Greeks masturbated significantly less (according to the survey, at least). That was surprising to me.

Hahh that's hilarious! Something like 40% of the people who took the survey for my school are Greek. We have so few Greeks that we don't even have any official stats on the percentage of Greeks! I'd guess 1%?
