Sad: Member of Delta may have mad cow's disease
I just saw on the news that a 22 year old living in Portsmouth, VA may be dying of mad cows disease, the first possible human case in the US. The disease has not been confirmed, but so far medical tests indicate it may be a diagnosis of the disease. She is a graduate of VA State and a member of Delta (as indicated on the news). Anyway, just wanted to share what I saw on the news and hoping we can all lift her up in prayer.

I saw this. This is too sad. I hope that she gets well.
BTW, I don't know if her affiliation was in the news, but it was on a Delta listserv. That's how I found out. |

She's an AH Soror. I believe Spring 2002 or something. |

Thank you Chaos, Shid and Jon. This is indeed very sad. And my apologies to the OP.

I saw the news story last night. The story showed a collage of her HS and college diplomas and a DST hat.
My prayers are with her. |
Sadly, news reports state that this sister passed away yesterday evening around 5:30 pm - the cause has not been confirmed as of yet. Let's all continue to lift her family up in prayer.

Very sad news.
Found some more back ground stories about her and her medical history. No matter what happened or the cause, it is still a shame and as always painful for family and friends. http://www.wavy.com/Global/story.asp?S=8132511 http://www.cattlenetwork.com/content...ntentid=212233 |
OH no. :(
She had already passed when the story aired, since I saw it on the 11 o clock news. How sad. |
