The Alpha Gamma Delta website has been updated!

www.alphagammadelta.org

Looks nice!

I like it! Things are pretty much where they used to be too, especially once you're in Member Services, thank goodness! I rely on that site now. I did go to click on the tabs on top a couple of times, which are no longer there, but I like it.

AWESOME

Looks wonderful!

I had passed on a suggestion a year or so ago that I wished that the Sister Search had a choice of Last Modified Date so that it is easier to keep up with those that have had changes. Maybe someday it will be added.

I think the website looks great! I was just looking through it and I saw Marie Palmer's picture. I love Marie Palmer!! She is sooooo funny and knows every thing under the sun about recruitment! Our chapter STILL talks about her to this day! We quote her immortal words!

AGDLynn 05-19-2008 11:11 PM

Gosh!!! Wonder who you might be?

Doing anything special on Saturday?;)

uwgAGD 05-19-2008 11:31 PM

oh how i've missed ya! have any advice for me for next year? also, do you think that our recruitment will change because we get a house? i feel like chapters that have a house have to do more things (provide refreshments, more songs and dances, etc.) what do you think?

xo xo

A big kiss to you Alpha Glamorous! A new house means new opportunities. Unless your recruitment rules change, food-like frills should not.

Your RS can help you make sure you have polished enough and are ahead of the rest!

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I doubt that WG will want to start serving drinks and food, esp. in new houses, lol.

Well now I have to hijack. I have been reading all these LC reports about Polish week and I was wondering why all these groups were all of sudden having a Polish week. Were they serving perogi and paczi? Were they also having Italian, German and French week? Just now, reading Marie's post, it dawned on me.. it's not Polish long o, another country, it's Polish, short o, as in polishing your skills! My defense? In the town I grew up, everybody was either Polish or Italian.. EVERYONE, the whole city. Some people were both Italian and Polish. So I see Polish, I immediately think nationality, not refinement! <grin>

Dee... he he!

A new IC member had the same response. It must be a a CST thing! I bet it's the capitalization of the word. I may have to call it polish Week!

DoctorD 05-21-2008 11:22 PM

oh, we could have too much fun with this:

CST = Commando Squirrel Taskforce

EST = Energetic Squirrel Tango

VST = Vigilant [or Vigorous, or Vivacious] Squirrel Troop

Ok, I'm too punchy. I should go to bed before it gets much worse! :p
