I heard about this on the news this morning and just had to find the local source for it.
Was going to put it into odd news stories but I think should be here:

PORT CHESTER - A bride and groom spent their wedding night at the Port Chester jail after a dispute Saturday with the wedding musicians turned into a melee involving the band and later, village police.
The argument spiraled out of hand shortly after 11 p.m. when the bride, Fabiana Reyes, 41, insisted that she wanted to hear live music, not the DJ. Band members declined, insisting they were instructed to play only when the DJ was not, Port Chester police Lt. James Ladeairous said yesterday.

Absolutely.....ridiculous. What a bizarre story. The bride & groom have a 21-year old daughter? Why did they wait so long to finally get married?

I don't understand this. If the BRIDE is requesting you to play-shut the dj up and play. Someone is paying for all this so they can get married-so maybe they should try listening to them (as long as they aren't asking anything unreasonable).

Contracts, Contract, Contracts-got to read them and understand them.
BRN-you want to keep the service people at your wedding very happy.
If so, then they keep you happy.
