SigmaChiCard and Newbie
Does anyone know when these 2 will be back? It's so wierd not seeing Newbie's cheerful posts everyday or Cory's poetic posts http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif So any word from either of them on the date of their return to GC?

Maybe they're on some secret rendezvous or mission to take over the world.
LOL, Hurry back you two. Hootie |
Aww, that's so sweet http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif! Thanks Liz and Hootie for thinking about us! Makes me feel loved, haha. Actually, Cory should be back now too...he said he was coming back Monday from London. I've actually been back in the Bay Area for awhile now, like nearly a week, but have been so busy with SAT prep, and with school almost coming back in session, and making plans for a Mentor Committee for my school. Hectic! It's nice to be able to relax and catch up on GC http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif.
anyway, 3 weeks ago, I headed to Vegas, which was an absolute blast, and then after, headed to SoCal (more specifically, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Orange County, Santa Monica, and Santa Barbara). It's funny b/c now I think I'm more of a SoCal person than a NorCal person! I usually go to L.A. each year during the summer anyway to stay with my auntie and uncle for one month, but this summer...it was different for some reason. Los Angeles has always felt like my second home, but now I wish that I lived there permanently! It was awesome to wear tanks and flip-flops everyday...in addition, I got a mean tan in a day! You never get those up here in San Fran http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif. I didn't even want to come back home, haha, though home does have its perks. I also went to visit colleges, such as USC, UC-Irvine, UC-San Diego, and UC-Santa Barbara. I am absoltuely in love with UC-Santa Barbara and USC! Now I just hope I can get in! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif (It's getting so tough.) On a lil side note, the guys on the USC campus especially, as well as SoCal in general, are hot, hot, hot! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif hehe. Anyway, thanks again for posting...you two are simply awesome! [This message has been edited by newbie (edited August 17, 2001).] |
CRMSNTiDEGRL717 & Hootie
Thank you guys so much Hootie, you were right, no matter how we each try to cover up our rendezvous, we actually met for the last two weeks in a skanky hotel half-way between cali and ky Sorry my absence, but I truly had the experience of a lifetime, and I think that I'm going to take a year off after graduation and do a 6th month work/study in London...keep my fingers crossed that I can do it, I still have quite a while before I have to worry about it. nevertheless, CRMSNTiDEGRL717 e-mail me sometime and we'll chat (my computer is annoying me because it really sucks) |
In light of this old thread - Does anyone know whatever happened to CRMSNTiDEGRL717 or Newbie...i miss them & many of the older GCers

I know Liz went AOII at Alabama in the fall of 2001. She's probably graduated by now. Wow, I feel old! :)

Newbie was great ! I actually met her IRL once but we only talked for like 10 minutes or so. I think she just got caught up in life at USC. =)

newbie was great. I remember how she was still in HS when she first registered and she was such a sweetheart, everyone loved her like a little sister.
From what I recall reading in a post about her a few months/years ago, she didn't go Greek at USC but she did become very involved on campus. Still, it'd be nice if she could pop in so we can get new news about her! |
