Asking frats instead of being asked?

.

Wash their cars in bikinis?
Bake them dinner?

Oh lord. PhiGam, don't do that to someone new to the board, she hasn't come to understand your wonderfully sardonic sense of humor yet. ;)

And deltalove, I hope you were joking right back at him, but just in case you weren't, DO NOT do anything "scantily clad" to get a fraternity's attention. Please.

Desperate and sad.

It makes more sense for you all to forego the gender roles and flatout ask the fraternity men to the formal rather than to go through this demeaning routine to "get their attention."

Pardon me for the crash if this is standard practice on most campuses, though.

The way that's phrased... is my mind just dirty, or does that sound bad?

I'm reading this advice as suggesting her group go out and find the guys who are most likely to sleep with them. I don't think that's particularly good advice.

Most fraternities are in these things to win 'em. Look for a group you can work with to gain a competitive advantage. Factors like location and ability to compete in whatever it is you guys do should be selling points.

This thread makes me so glad that our Homecoming pairs were assigned.

We didn't even have homecoming or greek week pairs due to the ratio of fraternities to sororities.

That would be interesting. Its basically on a four year rotation here because certain fraternities hang out with certain sororities a lot.
