Membership Development Gifts
 

Hey Everyone -

I'm a DPhiE, and for those of you who aren't we have a yearly membership development program that each sister is supposed to complete; we call it the Pearl Program. At the end of the year we hold a small ceremony to recognize the sisters who complete the program, and give them a small gift.

I'm currently trying to think of something cute to give them. One year we all got t-shirts that said "I completed the Pearl Program and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt;" but I don't want to use that idea. I also don't want to give them a dphie cup or keychain, I'm trying to get creative.

Any Ideas?

Why don't you order faux pearl earrings/necklace in bulk? That way everyone has something nice and matching (this is great beceause Panhellenic can't really say rush infraction come recruitment time because everyone already owned it!) to wear at pref and special events. Or a nice matching set of Delta Phi Epsilon letters for after initiation. Or a silver pendant engraved with Essam Quam Videri (hope I spelled that right!) or a silver pendant with a single faux pearl.

What is your budget per member? How many members do you expect to complete the program next year?

Is there a special dangle that members can attach to their badge to show that they have completed this program? It would be a nice touch is they were awarded this dangle along with the gift that you choose.

Great ideas. And if the matching necklace/earrings is too expensive, how about just a single faux-pearl drop? (since it is the "pearl program"). They could wear the drop with thier lavalier or on it's own.
