Joining greek life through another school
I have recently transferred to a new school and they don't have any Greek Life. I've been interested in joining a sorority for over a year now and am in a completely new city where there is no dorms.
Are there rules saying you can't join a sorority at a school you don't attend? I know it might seem like a dumb question, but I am serious and really want to know. Thank you in advance! :) |

I'm not qualified to speak for NPHC, Multi-Cultural, or Local groups. You'll just have to check with the sororities you're interested in joining. |
What do you think of something like a network of colleges through a larger university? I currently go to a CUNY (City University of New York) and am technically a CUNY student as well as one of the college I'm attending. Would you consider this enrolled? It's sad because all the non-NPC sororities I find here I'm not interested in, but there's a NPC one at Brooklyn College I like.
If it simply cannot be done, then I guess it can't. Maybe I should e-mail the chapter and see...? |

We here can generally only provide rather general answers.:) If detailed questions, one should really go to the source be it the chapter house, school or National HQ. SAE now as at least one City wide chapter. |
