West Virginia DG?
 

Hey ladies-
I just found out that, due to MrRN's job, we will be moving to West Virginia. I saw online that there is an alum group in Morgantown, WV but that is too far from where I'll be. Does anyone know, are there any alum groups, or hope groups, that are closer to middle WV? Nothing is listed online. If not, thats ok, it'll just be 2-5 years withoht alum group interaction for me( aka not happy!!)

How far away from Morgatown will you be? You could always serve on HC and they really need some help there.

We will be in between Huntington and Charleston (closer to the Ohio border) and Morgantown is 3 hours away.

Maybe there might be one closer in Ohio?

Perhaps you could investigate in developing an alum group near you once you are settled. (if one is just too far from your location)

So, update! I got on our website and looked under the area about starting an alum group( because all the ones in Ohio and Kentucky are 3-4 hours away from where we'll be in WV). I emailed the lady at EO and explained my situation and she emailed me back and said that there were 149 DG's in a 15-20 mile radius of where we will be!! That is a ton and so awesome!! She said someone will be getting in touch with me soon about what it takes to start a group. And then I got to thinking that if there are that many women there already, maybe they already have something in place!
I am excited now!!!
