At Penn (U. of Pennsylvania), these awards were recently announced and reported in the Daily Pennsylvanian.

Outstanding Chapter Awards:
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, of the MGC,
Alpha Phi Fraternity of the Panhellenic Council
Delta Tau Delta of the IFC

Outstanding Academic Programming award
Delta Tau Delta of the IFC,
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority of MGC
Delta Delta Delta of the Panhellenic Council.

highest GPA for the spring and fall 2007 semesters:
Sigma Alpha Mu,
Sigma Kappa
Lambda Phi Epsilon National Fraternity, among others.

Special Accomplishment award:
the Gamma chapter of Delta Sigma Theta for its HIV/AIDS awareness campaign. Throughout the year, Delta Sigma Theta raised over $5,700 for the cause.

That's good stuff!!Kudos are in order for the sorors with the award for academic programming!

Congratulations to the chapters mentioned - those are some pretty wonderful accomplishments!

Ahem. It's about the recognition of accomplishments and effort, not how long or short it is.

i thought we already had a thread of "let's toot our own chapter's horn."

I just asked because the title made it appear that it was about Greek Awards...Greek Awards happen on many, many campuses. :)
