I first heard about this site just yesterday as I was waking up. And what I heard just did not make any kind of sense.
Today I received the following commentary on it and I was left wordless.

Wordless not over or about the commentary, but the site itself.
This site will hurt people as well as groups; there are sub-threads for GLO's and sport teams.

What say you all?

I can't believe the absolute hellacious-ness that is that site. I heard a story about it on the Today Show last week and looked into it. Oh. My. God. (and that's not saying His name in vain... I'm saying a prayer over that site!) What I cannot fathom is how campus administrations can't clamp down on it. They could at least block the site from being used on campus. It's really dangerous. I read the TOS and privacy policies and you are basically COMPLETELY anonymous. To compare, GC is a semi-anonymous site, but people can be found out very easily. Juicycampus doesn't tie posts to users, ip addresses or cookies... you could destroy someone's life without ever being found out. It definitely needs to be addressed.

I agree with you 100%!
While GC has some problems and some bad monents (some of which I have been a party to:o:(), that site is so far over the hill.
I agree with the writer that it si only a matter of time before that site causes something to go real bad.:eek::(:mad:
