New York City http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

It's a tie between Cancun, Mexico and Dusseldorf, Germany. Cancun may win by a hair because the weather is soo much better http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

I lived on Okinawa, Japan for three and a half years, and they were the best years of my life.
Billy Optimist... My family is from NYC...Brooklyn actually, and I agree that it really is a great place. The food is the best!!! |
NEW ORLEANS BABEEEE.....hopefully Mr. 33 and I will be going back there soon!

I lived in Okinawa, Japan(an island of mainland Japan) for 7 years as a kid and those were definitely the best years of my life. I didnt live there but in college I went with one of my fraternity brothers to visit his family in Chile, South America. I visited for 3 weeks on Christmas break back in 95 and that was an awesome trip. The water at the beach there at Vina Del Mar is ice cold and it runs up the coast from the Antartic. Its pretty cool cause summer time is during Christmas season there. I have to add Lake Tahoe. Its heaven to me. I think its been to comercialized the last thirty years. My family has a cabin there.

I lived in Tokyo for two years when I was young. It was a wonderful experience. As for vacation spots, I had a great time when I went to Jamaica. I love the beach!
|
There are so many places I've visited and loved...my favorite stateside is San Francisco.
|
Bali, Indonesia. The most spiritual area in the world. Plus great beaches, but too much Australian with their oi oi oi. Gets annoying.

Since I posted the topic, I should tell you all my favorite place.....
Last summer I went to Germany as well as Austria & the Czech Republic. We were in the southern part of Germany around Munich, for the most part & I have to say that it is the most beautiful place! It was such a memorable trip http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif & I can't wait to go back someday! [This message has been edited by StaC (edited January 17, 2001).] |
Hi StaC...
My best friend has lived in Germany for the past year and a half. She also says it's beautiful. However, she is so thrilled to be coming back to the states this February!!! |
Stone Mountain, GA. It's SO pretty up there!

I speak German! Thats a kind of random comment but not really...

Hi Billy Optimist,
if you speak German, check out the German version of my fraternities home page. The English version is fine, but the German version is much more extensive. http://www.kdstv-bodensee.de And for the topic: boy that is a hard question!!! nature wise, I'd go for Yosemite in winter, the Mojave desert and the Kyclad (?) islands in Greece (haven't been to tropical islands, yet, though) best cities: North America: NYC, San Francisco, Toronto Europe: there are so many - I love Rome but there are a lot of 2nd places! |
