Important Question About Spring Rush

I'm going to rush spring semester for my school, but I'm scared. Wouldn't there be cliques and groups already made from the fall pledge class? There's only going to be 3-5 girls being accepted into each of the sororities, so it seems pretty intimidating to meet a bunch of new girls that have already known each other half-way through the year.. so anyone that has done spring rush or just anyone..can you give me any info?

I did informal Spring rush this semester and I am still going through my new member period. Their fall pledge class was over 50, and I don't feel weird about being in a spring pc because in all honesty, the fall girls are still new as well. There are cliques and groups already formed in most sororities, with there being 'families' and all, but if you feel comfortable accepting a bid to a sorority, fitting in and making your way into these groups shouldn't be a problem at all.

Definitely don't be intimidated. If you receive a bid it's because the girls saw something great in you and are more than willing you accept you into their world even if they've known each other for a few months already. It seriously is a great experience being a new member, so if you're comfortable by then, go through Spring recruitment and enjoy it!

I joined through sprnng recruitment and my class was a small group (3 girls). It's not as intimidating as you think, because if you get a bid, you have alot of activities to help get to know everyone. Also, the sorority members are just as excited to get to know you as they were to get to know the girls during fall recruitment.
