hah, i was walking through hobby lobby the other day and noticed a very large wooden anchor and i about squealed out loud when i saw it...i didnt have any cash to spare then, but i will probably go back and get it in the near future

ps...i like the lamp and in fact it is very similar to the one im talking about...I wish i had a cool anchor lamp!

Do y'all still decorate anchors for Bigs or did you change to paddles? I thought I saw some paddles in some Pic-Man/Facebook pictures but I wasn't sure. :) I loved the anchor I decorated for my big! I wish I'd taken a picture of it.

Actually, EO recommends decorating something other than a paddle. It is a carry-over from "paddling" and hazing that we are trying to get away from. In the chapter I work with, Bigs decorate an anchor for Littles.
