Welcome Phi Alpha!!!
I received an e-mail today from my local alumni chapter, forwarded from Jean Mrasek - Chi Omega has been chosen to re-colonize at The George Washington University!
Congrats for Phi Alpha! And it will be really exciting having another chapter local to the DC area :) :D |
I am the advisor for our extension delegate at GWU...I have to say the Chi O presentation was top notch and I am convinced you'll be an excellent addition to our Panhellenic community. Congratulations!

Chi Omega to re-colonize at GWU in fall 2008!
YEAH!!!
Chi Omega had a chapter at GW, the Phi Alpha Chapter, for over 65 years (from 1903-1968). Over 780 women were initiated at Phi Alpha and they hosted the fourth Biennial Convention in 1906. The George Washington University is located in Washington, D.C. It is a private institution with approximately 9,700 students. Chi Omega will join Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Epsilon Phi, Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi, Phi Sigma Sigma, Sigma Delta Tau and Sigma Kappa on campus. Campus total is 85 and average chapter size is 102. |
This is fantastic news! Major kudos to our extension team!:)

(I'm only sorry that all of my former students who attended GWU have now graduated--would have loved to recruit some founding members!!) |
