I would really like to do a care package/letter writing campaign to all Beta brothers in Iraq or even overseas, does anyone have any ideas how we could get started on this?

I found some over myspace but they already returned. I feel like we have a responsibility for those who might really need us.

Yeah, just finished up month 8.

One guy that I work with is a Beta from Oregon State. My roommate from the house is also over here right now. I'm expecting 3 or 4 more from my chapter to arrive within the next 6 months. Hopefully we end up on the same FOB, which is very possible.

This is purely my thoughts...
Funny letters, suggestions for places to visit back in the states, and stuff like that is more valuable than care packages. I am in no way trying to say that Soldiers don't want care packages...but I have an office packed from floor to ceiling of stuff from care packages that we just can't use or give away fast enough. Letting soldiers know that life is going on back home, something to laugh about, or something to look forward to doing/visiting is very helpful in my opinion.

**I will never order anything from the Alpha House ever again. I ordered a Beta Flag 7 months in advance to have with me when 2 guys from my chapter and I met up over here back in November...and it never arrived.
