Former Chi-O needs help!

Does anyone know if it is possible for a former Chi Omega to re-activate? I was a Chi Omega at the Kappa Delta Chapter at BGSU in Ohio, but had to de-activate when I left school early for medical reasons. I would love to become active in Alumnae organizations, but did not know if this was possible... Could anyone help shed some light on this issue?

Are you sure your membership was deactivated when you left school or were you put on alum status? Have you called the XO headquarters office to verify your status first? I'm also out of my lane here so I don't know what, if any, reactivation procedures they have if your membership was actually terminated.

two weeks? oh come on. surely you have more patience.

yeah, get in touch with your HQ, or even your old UG chapter. in other words, a Chi-O that will know better than us here.

I'd first try to contact HQ and see if you are still considered a member. I'm not a Chi Omega, but I know that for some sororities, once you deactiviate your membership, you can't re-join, which would mean no alumna chapter membership obviously.

Contact the Executive HQ at www.chiomega.com

A duplicate of this thread is in the Chi Omega forum, and is probably best suited there anyway. Closing thread here in preference to the Chi-O forum.
