ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A federal judge Friday dismissed a lawsuit by a George Mason University fraternity that claimed its constitutional rights were infringed when it was expelled from campus for hazing and other violations.

If the most that they've been accused of in the "hazing" accusation is marching through the campus singing a song, the campus seems to have been overexcessive.
And the sexual assault charges seem to be a red herring -- they (allegedly) happened in 2005 and were never criminally prosecuted. I'd cry foul, too, if I was this fraternity. I think sometimes situations like this arise merely because a college hires an anti-greek person who sees it as their moral duty to kick off greek organizations because of what he or she *thinks* is going on. |
