Alpha Phi Alpha police officer killed in the line of duty
 

This is so sad. He was trying to help clean up the streets in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Cleveland.

The death of a police officer is a tragedy. If I read the story correctly, the officers were chasing people on foot because of an alcohol violation.

Why shoot an officer over something like that? Or is there something else involved and reported later?
