Date for General Assembly

It's a long, sad story, but my calendar has gone stupid

What is the date of the upcoming General Assembly down in Arizona?

July 16-19...Arizona Biltmore, Scottsdale...SPF 99...it'd be nice to have some details on accommodations so that we can make arrangements (plane, car, etc.).

Myself and three others from my colony are going. . .

Anything we should expect?

Hopefully by that time we will have had our charter. We are have applied and are waiting confirmation.

I don't know what programming is in store for the undergrads. This is our bi-annual convention so the days (for your delegate) will be filled with legislative and committee meetings. For example, your delagate could get tagged to sit on an awards committee or possibly the GHZ nominating committee.

The programming for the non-delegate undergrads is usually focused on risk management, operations, and the like. I expect a big push on True Brother.

BTW, where exactly is Beta-Zeta, anyway? Western Carolina?

Chartering

I thought that you didn't get a Zeta designation until you were chartered though?

We are the Beta-Zeta Colony at the moment. Once we charter we will be Beta-Zeta Zeta... Maine is the Beta Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha, as we hope to become the Beta-Zeta Zeta at Western Carolina. We are re-colonizing, we got the boot in 2001 for various reasons.

I am our delegate and look forward to many meetings so on and so forth lol.

When I went to general assembly in 2002, they had programming before a couple of days before GA, then the legislative process. Of course this was during the now defunct Impact Leadership days. As a delegate they break you up into commitees, so more important than others, and you present your article before the group. Some commitees are standards, which are grouped in levels, where you decide a chapters fate, or whether they get charted and so on... My commitee sucked, we were in charge of recognition where we that the GHZ, Hotel, various contactors, and the undergraduate body

We were just approved for a charter, and will have our banquet in May.
