nittanyalum 02-20-2008 10:36 PM

I'm sorry the people in the cloudy areas can't see it -- the moon is looking really cool right now!

DaemonSeid 02-20-2008 10:50 PM

Yes! Red ball! How neat is that?? I don't think I've ever seen that before!!

WhiteDaisy128 02-20-2008 11:17 PM

It looks terrific! Just magical! Those of us in MD/DC have a great clear view right now!

AnchorAlumna 02-20-2008 11:58 PM

I saw it! or rather, I'm seeing it!

AGDee 02-21-2008 12:01 AM

I had the kids up watching it too. My son is really into that stuff. After I tucked him tonight, he said "Happy Lunar Eclipse!" He thought it was very cool.

ETA: Ironically, my daughter was not as interested because she was working on a project for science where she has to create her own planet, tell what color it is (based on what gases are prevalent), what, if any, life is there, etc. She also had to make a paper mache model of her planet. It is, of course, a pink and purple planet, because she's a 14 year old girl.

No joy. Cloudy and a little snow tonight.
