Northern Illinois Sigmas...

I just heard about the shooting at NIU. Do we know if all the Sigmas there are o.k.??

Nothing has been released on ID's of students.
I e-mailed my Chapter house there and have not heard back.

If there are any Beta Alpha ladies out there, please check in here if you can to let us know you're alright.

I hope all our sisters at NIU are alright... Keeping everyone involved in my thoughts and prayers.

"On Thursday, February 14, 2008, several students were shot and killed and many more wounded in a gun-related incident at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. Northern Illinois is the home of Tri Sigma’s Beta Alpha Chapter. At this time, all of our chapter members have been accounted for and are safe from injury. However, several of our chapter members know of relatives or close friends that were either shot or injured. We extend our sympathies to all who have suffered in this tragedy.

If you would like to extend your sympathies or offer words of encouragement, you may send them to the Beta Alpha Chapter President, Michele Ramirez, 1202 Blackhawk Road, DeKalb, IL 60115."
