I know that several years ago there was a song called Cotton Eyed Joe which was a Country/Dance song. Maybe it's that one.

OK, now you've got me racking my brain. I think I know what you're talking about. If it is the song I'm thinking of, a couple of girls danced to it at one of my recitals and I think I put it in the mix I made for a cheerleading dance in high school. This would have all been about 6 years ago. Do you know if the song was around then? I have also heard it played at sporting events, especially hockey since then, too. I'll try to do some research. Our dance teacher would sometimes name the dances by the song title and I also have the show on tape and may be able to come up with some more words to go on. Ok, I'm rambling. Let me know any other info you know RE the song, so I can check the one I have.

It's The Grid, and yep, the song is called Swamp Thing.

They have another excellent song called ______ (something)Cowboys. I used to dance to the Grid when I was young and foolish at The Wild Coyote (LOL!)
