A mistake during Rush! Advice?
 

I generally think carefully about what I say and I'm pretty embarrassed about this: Last night, during the first night of rush, I was talking to one of the ladies in the sorority. I was making conversation with her and we were talking about bids and preference parties, etc. I accidentally said, "Did you get invites from all three sororities?" instead of "Can you..." and she looked at me and said, "...You can."

I felt so awful.

Should I make a point to tell her that it was a mistake or should I just forget about it? I've been thinking about it all day and am worried.

You're putting way too much stress on this.

Judging from her answer, she may have misheard you anyway. Don't fret about it.

I read it twice and still didn't see the problem. I read it out loud and and figured out what you are so stressed about. Seriously, it's not a big deal. She must have knew what you meant.

Relax, I doubt she held that against you and if she did then shes a bitch anyway.
