So is there like a story line to step shows? Whats the story to this one and where does the secret come in?

I am not sure if you are being 'funny', but I will answer the question anyway.

I do not have a link to the story behind the lady's life whom this stepshow is dedicated to, but she was a promising UAB student who was killed in the 1980's. She was very involved in the community and with the campus. This stepshow provides scholarships to deserving UAB students by funds generated from people attending. The winners of the stepshow also recieve money which goes to that chapter(s) fundrasing account which is used to donate to causes (ex. Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, etc.).

There is no secret:rolleyes:. That is just the name of this party. We(AKA) are hosting the party with a fraternity (KAPsi) that has something in common with us (K and A for that matter, but the focus is the K; hence seKret) and the superficial part of being Pretty Girls and Pretty Boys (respectively).

PhiGam.....it is just a party. Also, the money we get from the party is also placed in our (AKA, I can not speak for the DT chapter of KAPsi)) fundrasing account.

PrettyBoy and fellow Kappas can you agree with the name of the party and the reason given?

I still don't really see the reason for the title but it sounds like a good cause so good luck.

There is no reason other than an ability to play-up the capitalized letters. :) You won't be the only one who wonders what secret-to-be-revealed prompted the silly title.

In general, not relating to this show, stepshows are fundraisers and many do have themes that participants abide by or individual teams' performances have themes. I generally prefer stepshows without themes or with loosely-applied themes.

As an alumna of this school, I was curious about the woman whom the afterparty and scholarship is in honor of- the stepshow is being sponsored by one of the former organizations that I was active with a long time ago,- the Students for Greater Awareness -glad to see them still going strong! Camille Armstrong was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, a UAB Ambassador, and a promising political science student with aspirations to become a lawyer who was tragically killed in an automobile accident.

Those flyers are sick!
