Chi Omega is starting a new chapter at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo!

Chi Omega is thrilled to be joining the Greek community at Cal Poly and adding to its tradition of friendship, leadership opportunities and philanthropy.

Chi Omega is looking for Cal Poly students who are freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. These women will have the opportunity to shape the personality and individuality of this new group.

Women interested in learning more about Chi Omega at Cal Poly should plan to attend one of the following Information Sessions:

Monday, February 4th
7:00 pm
Performing Arts Center Pavilion
or
Tuesday, February 5th
7:00 pm
The Science Building (52) Room E-27

:) Our colonization efforts at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo have been a tremendous success, resulting in 123 new hooties in California! We have 6 legacies and 5 others with Chi Omega ties in the group. Gamma Beta--UCLA chapter helped with the pref ceremony and recruitment on Saturday.

Hey everyone!

I am a new member of the Omicron Mu colony of Chi Omega at Cal Poly. I am so excited to be a part of this great organization. Our colony has even impacted greek life at Cal Poly. We are raising the standards of greek life by attending philanthropy events and promoting Chi O's principles. Panhellenic has congratulated us on our performance so far at various events. We even had 44% of our members attend All Greek Clean-up a month ago; this was the biggest percentage turnout of all the greeks on campus. We have forced other sororities and even some frats to really evaluate their alcohol usage, especially at philanthropy events.

I cannot wait for initiated, which is April 20th. I hope all of my Chi O sister across the country will be thinking of us that day.

Oh yea, and Happy Belated Birthday CHI OMEGA!

Omicron Mu Installed
 

On April 20th, 106 founding members were installed. Jean Mrasek, S.H. and Shelley Potter, S.T.B. presided over the installation ceremony.

The ceremony was follow by a luncheon attended by over 400 guests. The luncheon was a special way for the new Sisters to share the sisterhood, friendship, and support Chi Omega has provided them with their families and friends.
