ok heres the thing...ill be rushing at LSU in the fall but i dont know who to choose. i mean all of the frats on campus have their good points but im scared about whcih one to choose. i guess my question is, whats the best frat...i know it depends on me but i just wanna hear opinions and why

I'm assuming you haven't been contacted by any of the chapters since you didn't mention it. That will limit your options somewhat. Just wait till rush, that's what it's for afterall.

This is a bad question to ask. Every guy is going to say that their fraternity is the best. Are you still in high school or are you in college already?

Yeah, I hear Omega's the be-all end-all.

The best fraternity is the one where you feel like you belong when you go to the house and talk to the brothers.

Lambda Chi and Kappa Sig are pretty solid.

First off, certainly eliminate frat from your vocabulary, use that word, and you are cut. Secondly, check around there is great rush advice on this site, pay particular attention to anything said by SECDOMINATION or PHIGAM, they are both stand up guys with great SEC rush advice. And as always, I'll be the cliche one. Do not join a fraternity cause they are the best. Cause to get in the best, you damn well better be the best. Join a fraternity you feel comfortable around and trust the brothers. Also, adapt your closet if it already isn't khakis, sperrys, and ralph lauren. That will give you a pretty solid start.

Yo, I am a TKE from another school. I pledge my first semister, and I went to every frat durring rush and the people I felt most comfortable around was the place I joined. Just keep in mind you will be around those guys for your whole college career.
