Television Pilot
 

I'm working on a new pilot for a cable television station in which we are going to profile some stories of sorority members (present and past) who have taken part in inappropriate and/or illegal activity. The goal is for the show to make it clear that 99% of sorority members are good law-abiding students and citizens, but that there are some bad apples out there and we want to uncover what bad behavior they become involved in and why they become involved in it. The themes we plan on covering are excessive partying, drugs/alcohol, extreme hazing, competition/rivalry, pranks gone bad, scandalous pictures or videos, etc...

We are currently looking for stories that might fit within these themes (hopefully ones that either received news coverage and/or a great deal of attention on campus). So if there's anyone out there with any good examples of sororities or sorority members who have "gone bad" I would greatly appreciate any help. Your privacy will of course be respected, we're just in the development stages of this project and looking for stories.

Let me get this straight.

You come here, a message board for fraternity and sorority discussion, asking people to air their dirty laundry for the whole world to see? You really think people will be signing up to make themselves look bad on TV? You're not too bright, are you?

MTV tried to get the 26 NPC sororities involved in their "Sorority Life" project a few years back. All 26 sororities made it clear to their members that they were prohibited from taking part in this.

"Your privacy of course will be respected..." BULLSHIT. You just want to make a quick buck and exploit sorority women. What respectful sorority woman would be willing to do such a thing?

This post reminds me of those people who come to GC because they had to write some paper or essay about Greek life. I must have missed the memo that said GC = scholarly research.

If you Google dadler21, you'll see that he trolls around message boards looking for people to be in his television programs. It doesn't look like he's very good at it.

Closing it sounds like a good idea to me, too.
