New Kids On The Block Reunion
http://omg.yahoo.com/report:-new-kid...ting/news/6009
My original post was a little unexcited. Shame on me!! :) I am thrilled and they all look so hot. |
I thought all of them were hot except Danny. I just thought he looked like a dork! I think it was his nose. His nostrils looked big to me.
Joey was my favorite when they first made it big. Now that I'm older and so are they, Jordan I think is the hottest one. :D |
I did a little happy dance when I found out about this. I'm a self-described overgrown teeny bopper. I *LOVE* boy bands, and NKOTB have always been my favorite! :D
I, too, can't see them dancing, just singing. Whatever they'll do, I'll be watching! :D |
This should be interesting.

The cool thing is, we're all legal now, so we have a chance with our favorite...
Kidding of course. Right now what I'm feeling can best be described as a mixture of excitement, curiosity and mortification. |
NKOTB reunion.... now I feel old :(
But I will always have a special place in my heart for Jordan. Mmmm.... I think MTSU had it rightp: excitement, curiosity, and mortification. |
I remember a few years ago, VH1's Bands Reunited tried to do an NKOTB reunion. I think everyone thought that Jon would be the first one to say no, especially with his anxiety issues, but surprisingly he agreed to do it. Jordan was also willing (surprise, surprise) but Dannie, Donnie, and Joe were not. If the band was going to reunite, they'd do so together as a group, not because Aamer from VH1 asked them to.
That's why reading today's articles got me surprised. I'd love to see them get together again, but for some reason I just can't see it happening. I told my mother they may be reuniting and a look of horror appeared on her face. I guess she still hasn't gotten over the 1990 and 1991 concerts. I think I'll go dig out my NKOTB in Rhode Island (?) pay per view video for old times' sake. |
^^^Yeah but since the VH1 effort, Jordan and Joey have actively pursued the camera/continued attention with Surreal Life and Dancing with the Stars, Donnie's acting career seems to have cooled, and the Real Estate market's tanked (which is what Jon does, right?). And Dannie... was forgotten about so he probably just needs the gig. And I bet they see how well-received the Spice Girls reunion has been and figure they better hop on the train while it's still on the tracks. So I bet you will get a chance to add some more ticket stubs to the '90 and '91 ones, OTW! ;) :)

If they do make it back out here to Hawaii (which I doubt, but you never know because The Police plays here next month!)...you know I'll be there! |
Well now that I heard this (great) news, I don't feel so bad for downloading old NKOTB songs from iTunes and putting Hangin' Tough on my myspace. ;) My husband thought I had lost it.
If they have a tour, I will definitely be there! Excitement, yes. Curiosity, yes. Mortification... maybe on my husband's part. He can't believe I'm still such a big teeny bopper. But I have always had a thing for Joey-Joe. |
They must need money. I always hated them.

One of my college roommates and I saw Jordan Knight a few years ago. I think I was still harboring resentment because my parents wouldn't take me to a concert when I was little. He was playing at a local club, and VIP tickets were under $30. It ended up being us and a bunch of over-30s, but he sang mostly NKOTB stuff, which was awesome. We got to go on his tour bus afterwards. This was just before Surreal Life aired, I think. He was a bit nervous and edgy, but I had to take a picture with him.

"I'll be lovin you forever" is one of my most listened to songs on the ipod. i loooooooooooove nkotb!

A reunion? WHY? Did Joey McIntire run out of washed up celebrity reality tv shows to do? Maybe Vanilla Ice, Gary Coleman, Webster, Greg Brady, Danny Bonacucbag, and Eric Estrada should start a band too.
