Local Engineering Sororities
I am a member of Zeta Phi Sigma, a local engineering sorority at Virginia Commonwealth University. The only other engineering sororities I am aware of are Alpha Omega Epsilon and Phi Sigma Rho. I was wondering if there are any local engineering sororites already in existance or if there are any students who are interested in starting an engineering sorority at their university.

My local isn't an engineering sorority, but most of our sisters are engineers since NJIT is a mostly engineering university. I'd say about 80-90% of my sisters initiated since our founding in 1992 are engineers.
Good topic. There are probably more locals like mine that weren't founded with the intention of being a local "engineering sorority" but are at schools where most students are engineers. |

Yes I do know. They had some internal issues, and a large number of them deactivated. All of the members that were left have all graduated now. We may eventually re-colonize, but for now we are focusing on our other active chapters. |
I dont know of any locals who are ONLY eng. girls, but On Lawrence Tech's campus, in southfield (detroit, mi) there are two local groups, Delta Tau Sigma, and Chi Omega Roh, DTS we're a tech school, so 75% of the student body is eng. or arch. Though they have graphics, and comm. majors in their soroity
