A BIG DAY FOR A JUNIOR

Hello everyone.

As my log in name suggests I sit on the sidelines and read about others. I did that for the past year after having a lackluster recruitment experience last spring. I wanted to fulfill my curiosity for finding out about greek life and the odds of getting a bid as a junior.

I go to a fairly competitive east coast school and was nervous, but let my curiosity get the best of me and signed up for formal recruitment. Despite an increase in my grades past the minimum of all sororities I was cut heavily. So heavily that I was on the brink of elimination! But, I was invited back to my favorite chapter time and time again.

Today I was given a bid by this chapter and I accepted so happily that it still brings tears to my eyes and is hard to believe. I am in such a great place and so thankful to all the contributors on this website that helped me get to this point.

I will be so happy to walk around in my new letters and get to show my new chapter the love I have always had in my heart but no one let me express.
