Number of NPC vs. undergrad enrollment numbers
Can you please tell me the number of NPC's on your campus verses the current undergrad enrollment numbers? If you would like to mention the average size of chapters on campus that would be helpful as well.

The two I'm familiar with: James Madison University - 9400 undergraduate women, 9 NPC Chapters. Virginia Tech - 9500 undergraduate women, 12 NPC Chapters. As a percentage of undergraduate women, NPC members have nearly doubled since I was at Tech in the mid-late 80's; while the percentage of men in Fraternities has remained about the same. Average chapter size is 134 at JMU and approx 130 at Tech

At the time I graduated Hofstra University, there were 6 NPC chapters and 4 locals on campus. As of 2005, there are 7 NPC chapters and 3 locals. Current undergraduate full-time enrollment is around 7,750. About 5-6 percent of the female students are Greek. Chapters can vary from 30-50 members.
