Wow, I had never heard of that artist (Banksy) before, but I just went through his site that was linked to the eBay posting and now I'm a fan! Really interesting, thought-provoking stuff. I wouldn't want a WALL of it in my home or anything, but I understand the intrigue. And it sounds to me like just the landlord is making $$ on the deal. It's probably some kind of "badge of honor" if he tags your building over there but like this landlord said, then they have to "maintain" it because it's a point of interest, and that can be costly. So he's probably looking to recoup $$ as much as to make it.
