Help With Updating Chapter House
 

Hello Ladies!

I have just been elected the new Chapter Life VP of our chapter. One of the major things that I would like to do is update our house. We have furniture that is very old and out dated, rooms need to be revamped so that the girls in the house will actually use them, and we need landscaping help as well. Is there anywhere I can go for help with this? We are basically on our own doing this with little or no help. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you so much!

If your chapter is housed, you should have an Incorporated House Building Corporation that meets regularly ... and atleast once a year for an annual meeting.

if no house corporation, you should try contacting the National House Corporation for assistance. You can find their contact information on the Alpha Xi Delta National web site.

Definately try to utilize your Building Corp if you have. I was on my chapter's building corparation that was able to help our chapter update their chapter suite through alot of fundraising.

Parent's Club
 

Do you have a parent's club? They can be helpful in donating things and funds.

Your Corp Board as previously stated should also be instumental in this and should have a budget for redecorating.
