Harvard...

All I Know is that my school, GMU, does have a law department in Arlington, which is really close to DC for possible internship work. We also have a rather active Sigma Chi chapter if that also helps sell things for you. As per the quality of the program, I don't know. But the website, http://www.gmu.edu/departments/law/ says that it's a tier one school, so i guess that must be good.

Connecticut- Besides the obvious -
http://www.quinnipiac.edu/academics/law.asp?School=LW Quinnipiac is very good and not as costly as Yale or Harvard. If you wanted to stick with your Sigma Chi's-University of Connecticut has a law school and a chapter there too! |
I know this technically isn't New England, but it's close enough... http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif My alma mater, State University of New York at Buffalo. It is an awesome school, with a highly regarded program for attorneys who want to serve in the public sector. Its also just cold enough in the winter that you will make sure to stay indoors and study your little rear off! I know I did! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well if you don't want to go to Harvard or Yale....you could (cheaply b/c of the US $) attend school in Canada...the Gamma Rho chapter of Sigma Chi is at Dalhousie University!

Where are you planning on living? I was in the town of Tonawanda, which was nice because I wasn't on campus, but it was still only five minutes away. If you have any questions about UB, please don't hesitate to ask! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif |
Law Schools....
I'm beginning my search for Law Schools
I'm not to take the LSAT for another year but I though I'd see if you guys have any suggestions on Law schools that are good. I'd particularly like to get into the New England area, or somewhere in Virgina...and ideas? |
I'm dating a guy that just got into Yale law but decided to go to UVA law b/c it's southern....lol I waslike you NUTCASE....but hey, to each their own. UVA is very pretty though, and they are in the top ten.

I'm planning on law school as well. My LSATs are good, but not stellar. Of course, I didn't really study, so maybe I could do better... http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif
Because LA has the civil law system, its just easier for me to stay in state. I might apply to some big name schools for the fun of it, but i'll probably end up at good ol' LSU. Its the best school in the state and at a mere 3K a year, its a bargain! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif |
Creighton University is rated pretty well for Law. I heard that the University of Nebraska at Lincoln was pretty good too. I suppose it depends on what you're looking to spend...private or public.
