Wedding Season
 

Over the next month I am going to a ton of weddings so in the spirit of the season lets hear about your dream wedding vision, a great wedding you've attended in the past or your favorite Wedding Story couple!

I love this question! Well, I would love to tell you about my dream dress. I saw an ad for Keri Lotion in an issue of Cosmo. The ad said something like, "Karen said I do in 2 seconds flat. Her lotion dried twice as fast." But it had a picture of this lady in a wedding dress. (Some of y'all may have seen this ad.) Anyhow, it's a very simple, not too frilly dress, but totally my style. I showed the ad to my mom, and she said I could probably get something similar to it for a few hundred dollars. Sweet! Of course, I don't plan on getting married anytime soon, but you can never be too prepared.

On another note, I just went to my cousin's wedding in New Hampshire. I went to the bar at the reception, and was standing with my dad and my uncle, and I got carded! Granted I am underage, but I used the fake ID that my dad knows I have. I just think it's so dumb to card me. If I'm with my entire family, and they don't care if I am drinking, then it should be ok. But oh well, I guess she was just doing her job...but I think she stiffed me on my rum and cokes.

The closest thing to a fairy-tale wedding I have been to was for one of my boyfriend's bandmates. They were married in Heinz Chapel on the Pitt campus and had their reception at a nearby club, with a big band.

Okay that is kind of weird because I almost went to Pitt and saw all of the chapel pictures on that website..it is so beautiful!! That would be such a great place to get married or go to a wedding at!

Well, since I just recently got engaged, I have been looking a lot at wedding sites on the internet, and lots of wedding magazines. There are so many things to choose from, it's so hard to narrow everything down. In the begining I wanted to have a spring wedding, with all the beautiful spring flowers and all that stuff. However, my fiance' and I are not getting married until we are both finished with college (he graduates in december but wants to get his masters degree and I don't graduate for another two years) so we decided that trying to plan a spring wedding right after graduation with us both trying to get jobs and find a house, would just be way too much. Well, I thought of the idea to have a wedding around Christmas. I thought it would be beautiful to just do red and white, and decorate with poinsettas. It's simple but elegant. Anyway, he doesn't want to wait that long so I guess we are going to try to get married in the summer after graduation. However, I am clueless as to what colors to do. I don't want to do the typical colors....like yellow that most everyone does in the summer, and his sister just did purple last year so....do any of you guys have any suggesstions???
