Any Illinois Sigs do Appellete Pro-Bono?
 

My cousin is in the midst of a real nasty custody battle with her ex. He's basically outspending her...

Currently she's won a judgment, but he's filing an appeal (the first of three possible as I understand it)...

Her attorney has indicated she now needs an Appellete qualified attorney, for which she should expect to pay $5000 to handle the case....

So.... I'm hoping one of my brothers is capable and willing to give her a hand....

Besides this forum, any suggestions on how to canvass the brotherhood to find if anyone's able/willing?

Have you checked in the last membership directory to see who in Illinois are lawyers? You could also send e-mails to the chapter at Illinois (or other chapters in the state) asking if they can give you the names of any alumni who are lawyers.
