Irish Step Dancing

An Irish dancer will be teaching step dancing here starting this month. Has anybody ever step danced?

I have, just a little bit. I was in a dance company in highschool, and we had a hard and softshoe team. The routine was to "Cry of the Celts". A little cliche, but still fun.

Not me - but my daughter. I learned a little bit - it is fun!

I did for a five or six years or so. Basically, if you live on the south side or south suburban Chicago and you're Irish, it's just what you do. I liked it quite a bit. It's a good workout, and we got to get out of school a couple of times around St. Patrick's Day.

I havent done it, but i enjoy watching it. For Christmas my husband got me tickets to see Lord of the Dance when they tour here in February. I'm really excited about it!!

I took a class...it's a lot of fun! A GREAT workout! I lost an inch on my thighs within days! (and some of us ladies know what a challenge that can be!) Where in GA are you? If you want, PM me what area you are in :)
