Socials in either Windsor or Niagara Falls
 

Anyone ever have a formal in either of these places?...we are looking to have one there but want to know some good hotels, djs, etc....We were not going to have them here because of the passport policy but I just read that they pushed it back again till summer 2009.

Windsor is a pretty decent town but hotels there are ridiculous. I've never been to Niagara but I would advise staying away from Canada, everything is too expensive there. Charleston, Savannah, New Orleans, Nashville, or Lexington are the best places for socials/ formals.

WINDSOR IS AWESOME!!!! Just call the hotels and they will work with you BIG TIME. We spent 3 day and 2 nights, with a formal dinner/dance for all under $500/couple. Other food, alcohol, and casino was out of pocket.

Slight hijack, but is Kappa Sigma even a fraternity at Akron? They aren't recognized by the University on the Greek website and I certainly have never heard of them.

Nevermind! I didn't even know we had a fraternity colonizing right now :o
