Aliens vs Predator - Requiem
 

Went to go see it today....


Much better than the last one.



The only small spoiler I will give is that the ending definently makes room for another.....all I will say is think Terminator I.

I never saw the 1st one, but I saw the 2nd one today. I didn't like it. It was too dark.:(

Dark in what way?

Literally or figuratively?


If you mean for all the violence, then it was meant to be that way. A lot of people were not happy from the last one because when the franchise was 2 separate movies (the Aliens series and the Predator movies) they were both gory in thier own right. The last one didn't do either one any justice whatsoever.

I have seen a couple of the Alien movies, and the first Predator one. I hated the the AvP movie that came out a couple of years ago. I thought it was very lame compared the first ones. Are they any good actors in this one? Because the last seemed to suck when it came to acting!

you don't go to see an AVP movie for the acting...that's like watching a Nightmare on Elm ST. flick and looking for an Oscar winning performance

Watching the DVD now. This is disgusting for no reason. It's HORRIBLE.

I really enjoyed Alien vs Predator, though.

I just watched this last night. It was horrible.....bad acting, horror cliches, plot holes. I actually liked the first one. It had a better story, action sequences/special effects, and actors (Sanaa Latham).

^^^ The ending, with Ms. Yutani was also VERY wack. Like, only the nerdiest of Alien nerds would have understood the significance. At least with Bishop/Weyland in the first one, it made sense.

The whole thing does have me yearning for an Alien sequel. And Sanaa Latham proved it could be done without Sigourney Weaver.

I saw it last night, too, and thought it was decent. Sanaa Latham is a great actress and I was tickled that she "forced" The Predator to let her roll with him.

And as I said in another thread, The Predator is sooooo hot with his sexy dreds. :p Goooooooo human-alien hybrids!

Civilization doesn't need an Alien OR a Predator sequel. That's why we're seeing all of these AvP movies.

The original Aliens were the bestest movies.

this is one of the few movies i have walked out on.

The impregnation scene was the most vile thing I have ever seen on screen.

I know! What was the point of that? Ugh. They can just stop with the sequels now. There's nowhere left to go with this series.
