Mystery jacket...

I was just recently Initiated into ATO so as an early christmas gift my parents bought me an old ATO track jacket from the 1950's. On the collar is the name of what i'm assuming was the brother from the past that owned it. Is there any way i can find out who and where this brother was from? I'm still not 100% knowledgable of ATO.org so i may have overlooked somthing.

Do you have any clue what chapter the brother may be from? If so, you can try that chapter's website to see if they have an alumni database or try to contact them.

If not, try to call nationals and ask them to look up the name for you. Last time I checked, there wasn't a national alumni database on ato.org for you to look at.

You could also log into ATO inCircle and try to search there. Unless this particular brother has also registered, you won't find much information besides name, initiation year, and school.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Jason

Thank you for the help, this is looking to be pretty tough considering the lack of records being kept. But it may be safe to assume that the brother may have been active in a chapter in Michigan considering the owner lived there. And i'm a member of one of the five chapters in Michigan so it may be easier to get a hold of their alumni records. I know it wasn't my chapter considering we were founded in 1995 and the others are all possibilites. But so is UofM who lost their charter and their information may be impossible to get. But still i appreciate all the suggestions anyone can contribute.

L&R,
Andrew
