Not Greek but Not by Choice
Hello Everyone!
Let me start off by saying that I am so excited that I came across GC. I am a 21 yr. old student pursuing my bachelors in comm. with a spanish minor. As you have most likely concluded from the title of my thread, I am a non-greek but not by choice. Unfortunately, the school that I am attending does not have ANY NPHC sororities or fraternities. I know several African American students that have started at my university, and transferred for this very reason. Believe me this has crossed my mind on several occasions. The main reason that I have stayed is the thought that, "This is the reason that we don't have these sororities and fraternities here today. People kept taking the 'easy' way out." I feel like I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of. Seriously. I was just wondering if there is anyone else on GC that can relate to my experience or that can offer advice. Thanks, Legacy313:( |
I don't know if this counts as a thread that is doomed for closure, but I must say..... it's almost 2008. Are there REALLY still schools out there for which metro, city-wide, and core chapters are not an option?
