Paper: Pros and Cons
 

What are the pros and cons of adhering to the mandated MIP that BGLOs require rather than pledging (which I already know is banned)? I am speaking from an undergraduate perspective.

I can post any question I like. If you don't feel my questions, don't bother to post a reply of any type. Stop hating on a person just because he is in a place you once were. You wanted it once. Did you not? You sound like one of those snooty "better than" types. I'd rather not hear from those and if the shoe fits........!

I disagree. I think people should be educated about this subject.

That's true. But it's also not wise. It's especially not wise to take that tone with people who you are trying to be a part of. I would venture to guess that you've put out enough info that anyone who was interested could figure out who you were, and since you've already told everyone where your interest lies, you'd be best to mind your P's and Q's.

You can be however you want here, but don't be shocked if it comes back to bite you in the ass.

And when you're in a place to educate people, you may do so. Or, you might have come to your senses by then (if it ever happens).

I'll speak for the rest of GC (and I'm sure they won't mind me doing so) when I say that we were educated on this subject the 293402934198263918862312 other times you've already posted on this VERY SAME EXACT TOPIC.

I understand what you mean. That is how it is supposed to start. Where there is no journey, there is no destination. I want it and I am not afraid to express it not matter who disapproves. I know my answers will come in time but, I believe in wisdom and preparation. That is what my posts are about. And believe it or not my wisdom has been increased through replies to my so frowned upon posts. I do however, appreciate your view and those of many others.

uh...snooty I'm not and you couldn't possibly have gotten that from my one line post. Many of us are just baffled by the fact that you keep coming back with these questions. We know that you are eager to have your questions answered but understand that no one here is going to advocate you doing anything else besides what's official and encouraged within our organizations. Also, you have no idea who you're talking to. Some of the gc regulars here have been in their organizations for 10, 15, 20, 30+ years and are members of Alumnae chapters; not everyone is an undergrad. Anyway, MIP is the ONLY way!!!
